Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to access to the Shadowrocket Official Manual and use of its content. Purchases and use of the app are also subject to the applicable terms shown on the App Store.
1. About This Site and Scope
Shadowrocket Official Manual is the official website and manual for Shadowrocket. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting issues. These terms set out how the site's content may be used. They do not replace in-app notices, App Store purchase terms, or consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Before following instructions, check your device, app interface, and configuration requirements. Examples in the manual explain fields and rules; they are not complete configurations for every network environment. Review them against your circumstances before use.
2. Permitted Use and Configuration Security
You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are and to your activities, and follow the requirements of any network you access. Do not use the app or this site's content for unlawful purposes, or to violate anyone's privacy, intellectual property rights, or network security.
Import instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. Confirm that these details come from a lawful source and that you are authorized to use them. Keep your account credentials, subscription URLs, and configuration files secure. Before asking for help publicly, remove any information that could identify you or grant access to your account or services.
Before editing rules, replacing a configuration, or resetting settings, save a recoverable copy and consider which connections the change may affect. Review system permission requests and decide for yourself whether to grant them.
3. Purchases and Service Boundaries
Shadowrocket is a paid app available exclusively on Apple platforms, primarily for iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements, device compatibility, purchase eligibility, and the current price.
A one-time purchase of the app does not include a network service plan. Buying the app grants the right to use the client; it does not provide a server or network service. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services, nor does it manage users' existing service accounts.
App Store procedures and review policies apply to payment, redownloading purchased apps, refunds, and related matters. Check How to Buy and Install the Genuine App to confirm the purchase channel. The store listing and purchase confirmation show the terms that apply to your transaction.
4. Content Suitability and Limitation of Liability
The manual is based on verifiable App Store information and app usage. App interfaces, system permissions, and network conditions may change. We cannot guarantee that every instruction will always apply to every device, or that a configuration will maintain a connection or meet a particular need.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for the availability of the app or related network services, or for data loss or other damages caused by configuration errors, connection interruptions, device failures, exposed credentials, or user mistakes. Back up important data and test changes in a controlled environment before using them for critical data or business operations.
These limitations do not exclude or restrict liability where applicable law prohibits such exclusion or restriction, and do not affect rights you are entitled to under applicable law.
5. Trademarks and Intellectual Property
The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related product rights belong to its developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, or the respective rights holders. The official icon and app materials shown on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation; their ownership remains unchanged.
When quoting text from this site, credit the source and preserve the necessary context. Do not distort the meaning of instructions or remove risk notices. Use of trademarks, icons, screenshots, and other protected materials must comply with applicable law and the requirements of the relevant rights holders. Public display of this site's content does not automatically grant permission to reuse it.
6. Changes to These Terms and Feedback
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the site's content or features, or to meet legal requirements. Revised terms will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top of the page will be changed accordingly. Unless otherwise required by law, revisions apply to use of the site after they are published.
Before using the site's instructions again, return to this page to review the current terms. For help with an issue, first consult Tutorials and Troubleshooting Steps, and gather your device status, the steps you followed, and any error messages using its checklist. Do not share sensitive configuration details publicly when seeking help.
